Career Help to become Financial/ Research Analyst
Hi, I just started working in real estate portfolio management for a large firm as an analyst. By portfolio management I am beginning to realize it entails loan database management, basic reporting, and sending emails to collect data about a loan. I have a undergrad in Econ and statistics and am currently studying for the level 1 CFA exam. Does this type of financial experience help in aim of getting a entry level financial analyst job? I am basically just copying and pasting data from approvals and such into the database and I am concerned if I should stick it out just to have some experience under my belt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
