careers in souther Ireland
Hello and forgive a total newbie. My son is being proposed a job by a company in Cork County, with a similar profile to that he has in Frankfurt (Nintendo). There is talk of devaluation in Ireland. How should he negotiate (peg) his future salary ? Thank you for any advice.
Have his income specified in dollars or Euros; that way he won't be beholden to the exchange rate.
What's Ireland's weight on the Euro? They're being bailed out left and right, if Ireland falls I wonder how much it will weigh down on the Euro
Thank you for your quick reply. Southern Ireland's currency is €uros, but the latest news (on this site) is that Ireland will devalue, become like Greece. If my son accepts the job, he will have no exchange rate since he would work and live in Cork county. I just wanted to make sure that he won't loose out in comparison to what he makes now in Germany. Thank you again for your prompt reply.
Sherborn, thank you, that is my point.
