Most of the fortune 500 companies (AIG, Aon, Hiscox, HSBC, E&Y) are located along Front St. In Hamilton, Bermuda
Earning lots of money tax free* living on the beach. Doesn't do much for your career if you eventually want to do stuff back in the real world. But if you're happy spending 10 - 15 years there, you can probably rack up a huge amount of savings then go back to the real world to play with it.

Are there any BB or private equity companies that have operations in Bermuda? Have any of you considered working on the Island?
Citigroup has an office there, but it's back office stuff.
There's a lot of insurance companies that have their investment arms based there.
XL, Ace, Axis Cap, Arch Cap, etc all have offices there.
