Changing jobs, changing salary
Is having Goldman Sachs a great asset on one's resume even if it isn't IB? Is the opportunity of working at GS worth a sizable salary cut?

It depends on where you will be working
sales group consultant
i dont know what the sales group consultant does, but dont make the mistake of taking a back office job just because the job is at GS. It's what you do that matters, not where you do it. i'd rather be a trader at an unknown prop shop than a janitor at Bridgewater
The job would be for an internal wholesaler for GSAM. Any other thoughts?
I would be coming from JPM Private Bank. I was thinking it would be a chance to gain additional sales skills and product knowledge and bolster my resume for potentially applying to business school. Will having GS on my resume on top of JPM PB help open up doors in the future or is it not worth the move and risk?
