Choosing a Sophomore Summer internship
Currently a sophomore deciding between IB and Management Consulting. Now is the time to start thinking about summer 2021 internships, but I'm unsure as to which one is a safer bet to position myself towards given my indecision.
My hunch is to go for a boutique IB internship this summer over a boutique consulting internship due to the fact that a Sophomore summer IB internship is much more of a requisite for Junior SA in IB whereas requisites don't really exist for Management consulting (specifically MBB).
Would appreciate all advice and feedback. Not sure if my assumptions are correct and if this is the correct path to take.
