Client Services Associate Position

I'm curious as to what the career progression for a CSA at a place like UBS (PWM) would look like? I understand it falls under a client-facing role, similar to that of an assistant, but with the addition of getting one's registered representative certifications. Is the only realistic progression that of a Financial Advisor? Also, can anyone shed light as to what the compensation would look like?

More than likely the best progression would be into a full fledged FA role or maybe jump to a wholesaler position with UBS or another institution. I would expect salary to be in the $40k - $50k range plus a bonus depending on how good your FA is. Compensation totally varies from office to office for the most part. I dont know much about UBS a lot of my friends work for ML as CAs.
