In your shoes I'd take the scholarship to go officer, get out and get a target MBA paid for by the US gov't and go into IB as an associate. The right pedigree, the grades, veteran, network, it's a powerful combination.

Since you feel that sense of duty for your country - you should definitely take up the full ride for the 4 years and serve out your dream - no regrets.

After that get an MBA and you'll be barely behind everyone else, and have a rich life experience. You would probably rather give up 4 years of your life in the military than 4 years at a bank.

Having that MBA network + veteran will mean you're unstoppable.

Thanks guys for advice I was thinking...should I take the GMAT senior year of college? I would be able to study for it kill it and put it behind me that way when MBA applications come around I wont have to worry with cramming etc?

As long as I am doing better then I am feeling and I do it to prove them wrong.

This to all my hatin' folks seeing me getting guac right now..
