Colby College in Banking
Hello all, I am weighing Colby as a upper choice for my college search and wanted to gauge how well they did on the street, as it is a career path I am seriously wondering. Any insight is appreciated.
Haha I was very close to doing Colby ED when I was doing the college search too. It's an awesome school. I ended up going to HYP instead. I think you should consider doing the same due to the opportunities. If you can get into Colby, I'm pretty sure you stand a chance at HYP.
Hey, know its pretty late but figured I'd follow up. Ended up committing to Colby to swim despite offers from some targets. Wanted to study abroad and hate the pretentiousness of HYP+ Williams, etc. HF lined up for freshman summer.
what schools did you turn down
Committed early to colby but swam fast and had offers in the spring from georgetown, dartmouth (team cut shortly after), Umass, BC, stuff like that. Almost took Gtown but then got offered presidential scholar at Colby, plus colby has brand new Athletic center and morally questionable to decommit that late.

What does this mean? You got an internship >1 year in advance? Could you elaborate on this (the process)?
