Cold emailing a head of for internship?
I am currently an intern in a family office and, as a representant of a pretty big client, i get to meet a lot of PMs, fund manager etc.
I met in a videocall the head of CBs of a respectable AM firm who manages a fund of $1B. In these types of calls, as an intern, I am generaly not speaking a lot and I am just taking notes.
It is the only contact I have in this firm and I would be very interested in getting an internship at this fund.
Do you think it is ok to send an email directly to the HO or should I send my application through the usual application email and take a bigger risk of getting ghosted by a HR?
