Cold emailing on Mondays
Why is cold emailing on monday’s discouraged for IB? I usually send cold emails around 9-10 am, if it matters. Thansk!

Because the last thing they want to see is some student who's looking to suck them off. They just came off the weekend and are probably in a sad mood. It kills the vibes man

Do like 10-11 AM any day of the week but Monday IMO
Don't overthink it though if they get to it they get to it, my cold email advice is to never forget to follow up politely after 2-3 weeks
Ok thanks for this. When you say follow up, do you just mean thank them? I thought you were supposed to do that right afterwards?
What they said but probably skip Friday too for the opposite reason: people want to get their weekend started and are likely to blow you off and they may not remember to respond on Monday

its the morning, but not jumping right at them. after lunch too around 1:30 is also good.
