College Career Portal or LinkedIn
So I recently found a buyside position I'm very interested in that has been advertised on both my college's careers portal (recent alum: 2011) and LinkedIn. Any advice as to which I should submit my application on? I'm guessing LinkedIn would have more garbage applications, but at the same time my college (WASP) is by no means a target for this fund, and maybe just be one of many colleges they sent this ad out to. At this point in time there have been 150+ applications through LinkedIn.
If it matters, I'm a premium member on LNKD.
Okay never mind the LNKD ad leads to their site.
Still, website vs. college resume drop?
Always resume drop when possible... it's unlikely that firms will even see your application if you just send in your resume on their website.
Why not both?
Don't most of the firms prefer you apply online in addition to doing a resume drop?
