Community College Internships
I'm currently at a CC, I want to maximize my chances of breaking into IB, I live in Silicon Valley, so that helps a lot I presume, but how do I actually find an internship that I could get, I also listed my current stats below for reference:
4.0 GPA
going to be Budget Analyst student government this upcoming fall
a few other unrelated things

I thought about it, not ideal because I could get into a target, I'm on track for Haas rn, if I did one year I would probably have worse grades, just doesn't make much sense

Not true. Know many people who have gotten their Junior year internship at the beginning of Junior year.
Cold email any small boutique in your area. You just need to keep knocking on doors but eventually you might find someone willing to take free labor. Also since you are doing two years at your CC, I would highly recommend you do at least 2.5 years at your transfer school or else you are going to miss the recruiting timeline which happens your sophomore spring/early summer.
