Company can renege interview?

Last week, I was notified that I will be moving to the final interview round at a Big 4 advisory consultant position and I received a survey and a behavioral assessment test to follow-up on. I followed up on both and have been patiently waiting for the email that would have all the details regarding the interview, which is next week. This Monday, I found out that some other interviewees have received emails with more interview and flight information. I have not yet received this email.

I have reached out to HR already but there has been no response. I know that I finished both follow-up sections as well. Do they sincerely take into account the behavioral assessment and uninvite people to final round from it? But the thing is, I have received no notification regarding either scenario. Has this happened to anyone else? Any advice on how to approach it? Thanks!

Of course they can.

Have you called them as well or just emailed? If not, I would give them a call.

If they didn't take into account the behavioral assessment, why would they waste time in making you do it? Some take it very seriously, and I've seen people rejected out of processes before after a behavioral assessment. Since you've already reached out to HR, there's not much else you can do here except to keep trucking and start looking at other opportunities in case this one doesn't pan out (which you should be doing anyway, since it's only a final round and there's no guarantee you'd get an offer out of it).
