Consulting Work on Resume

I am debating about how to label my most recent work experience. I have had two part-time (full time work but a short term contract) jobs. I decided to lump them together on my resume and labelled the experience independent consulting . Do you guys think this is the best way to label the experience. Would it raise eyebrows? Any ideas?
