Hey,
So I'm applying to a VC firm for an internship. I can apply online through my university. I have been in contact with person in charge of recruting before. I was wondering what are your thoughts on calling after/before applying online?
I was thinking of maybe just calling the recruter straight up and tell him that I'm really interested in joining the firm and briefly pitch some of my skills before asking if I could send him my CV personally. I would do this in order to make sure someone actually takes 30secondes to check my CV out.
