What's everyone's thoughts about contacting work alumni (e.g., if I used to work at ML and I see a professional's bio also lists he used to work at ML)?
I know with contacting alumni, it's typically with school alumni, but would it be weird if you contact someone with the work connection? And I don't mean specifics (like you both worked in the TMT group), I mean just sharing the same company... or maybe similar roles (he was an Analyst there once, and you were/are an Analyst at that bank).
Thoughts/previous experiences to share?
