Cover letter formality???
Hey Guys,
I've talked to people who have crazy formal cover letters where the language is almost old english and I've talked to people whos cover letters are a lot more informal. Ive also talked to an associate at a bb who goes through some of the cover letters and he said he just throws out the really formal BS ones.
Does anyone know anything about this or does it depend solely on the person looking through the letter or the bank in general?
I'm actually interested in this as well. Would anyone be willing to show us an example of a cover letter that they used for investment banking?
