Critical Ownership Threshold

Hey guys,

I was about about to start an internship in Capital Structure Advisory and found out the importance of some critical ownership thresholds when we structure a M&A operation. So could anyone please help me to understand how these thresholds are important to shareholders and the company itself (rights and obligations)? Both in EU and US region if possible?

The six important thresholds for me are: 25%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 75%, 90-95%.

Thanks for your help,

Bao,

This would be a great question to ask in your first few days on the job to show interest.

You don't need to know everything going into it.
