CS / Morgan Stanley / GS / JPM FT 2015 Investment Banking Associate Hiring

Hi Folks,

Does anyone know what the current scenario is with respect to bulge-bracket hiring for NY? Are there FT Associate positions available after the summer offers? Trying to get some insight....Thanks

Yep they're still looking to fill some spots. But to be honest, the best (maybe only) way to get even an interview would be if you were on their radar before or you have someone recommend you. Just submitting your application online is pretty much a waste of time as they are going to first try to get the people they liked originally during recruiting but didn't end up at the bank and then second from recommendations.

Doubtful you get this position via online resume drop. Need to be at target or know someone who will push your resume. For what it's worth, I believe MS is done -- or at least is filling from target MBA programs. (only were looking for 5-10 post summer class).

"They are all former investment bankers that were laid off in the economic collapse that Nancy Pelosi caused. They have no marketable skills, but by God they work hard."
