Currently a junior in college, one internship in IB already, offer for IB CS. If i do something outside of IB this summer, do I still have a chance recruiting for IB full-time?
Hi. Last summer, I was an IB SA at an IB in LatAm. I was supposed to be an IB SA in NY this summer, but there is a lot of uncertainty about this position, so I believe it might not happen. I'm trying to still recruit for another IB spot for this summer at a bank in the US, but it's obviously well past deadlines, and I'm afraid it might not happen. If my summer internship this summer ends up being in another area in finance (Asset or Wealth Management, etc.), do I still have a chance of recruiting for a full-time position in IB? What if I do get an IB position for this summer but am back in a LatAm office? Do I still have a chance?
