Danish monkey wants to make it in IB, help wanted!

Hi everyone!

I'm quite new here, but so far amazing site!
I'm looking for advice, so I hope if have posted the right place!

In almost exactly one year I'll be graduating, and my dream is to go abroad and start working in either M&A or leveraged finance. Both are really interesting fields!
What should I do to position myself as well as possible, and where would I be a good fit with my profile.

I'll finish my masters in finance (two years) from Aarhus University in Denmark. I'm in the top of my class with a GPA so far at 10,5 (at a scale from -3 to 12), top 5%.
I also speak 4 languages (danis, english, german and spanish) though i'm not sure that's important in IB.

I have attached my resume for further information.

But very shortly:

I have worked 1st semester af TA in corporate finance, teaching case solving to bachelor students.

2nd semester I've been interning as a financial analyst in corporate finance in Grundfos (the biggest pump producing company in the world).

3rd semester (start this august) I'll be making a project with Jyske Bank (third largest danish bank), working at developing a model for analyzing and optimizing capital structure for the department of Institutional Banking.

4th semester I plan on writing my thesis in M&A (or a llbo - haven't decided yet) challenges in emerging markets (case study on a public brazilian company).

Hope you can help an up and coming monkey!
