Has anyone had any luck with recruiters as of late? Some respond very slowly after you follow-up or just ghost outright - curious what others have found to be successful in getting bites back / interesting opportunities brought their way. Is it kosher to reach out to headhunters proactively?
Context - Assoc 1 in M&A coverage looking to make a move to buyside (ideally growth or early stage, or PE depending on culture fit) soon, as I feel pretty done with banking. Concerned about slow momentum in this hiring market...
