Deciding on Internship Help
I am rising junior at a non-target ultimately looking to get into IBD. I have two internship offers this summer that I have to choose between within the next week.
- Equity Research at well known MM bank = Paid
- Loan Sale Advisory at decent sized boutique = Non-paid
I am leaning towards the ER position because it is at a well-known bank and it is paid. I am just curious to hear other's opinions in case I am missing anything in my decision.

Equity Research hands down. If you want to do banking or anything remotely finance related, you should use the contacts in the industry to learn about other roles in the bank. Next year when recruiting comes around you already have the contacts - and can speak to why YOU are a fit for the position.
