Deloitte ERS consulting - b-school positioning?

Thought I'd bring this question from the consulting forum over here:

Received an offer this week from Deloitte ERS to come on as a business risk analyst focusing on regulatory, compliance, and governance risk in the energy/utilities sectors.

How would this job position me for a top-10 b-school 3 years or so down the road? My long-term goal is to move to MBB or otherwise focus on strategy consulting in the energy sector.

I spent some time reading over various past posts here about Deloitte ERS and the potential to move, and it seems like it's a mixed bag. Will I still be able to maintain some long-term optionality, or is this job going to pigeonhole me as an IT/compliance person?

I'd really prefer something a bit more management/strategy-based, but I haven't heard back from MBB (I applied online, I'm a recent grad and don't have access to OCR anymore). I can't tell when another opportunity like this will open for me, so I'm inclined to take it.
