Diversity Recruiting without Diversity programs
Does diversity still have a pull in normal recruiting cycles rather than just in diversity programs? I'm a diversity (LGBTQ) sophomore at a target, but I didn't apply to any LGBTQ or diversity specific programs at any banks. I was wondering if my LGBTQ status would still help in my recruiting process even though I wouldn't be on the accelerated recruiting track.
Probably not but answer is debatable. However, realistically does the answer to this question change anything about what you're going to do next?
Are you going to try less hard at recruiting if someone says yes? Are you going to blame being LGBTQ if you get rejected? Just putting it in perspective.
You fucked up, you missed diversity recruiting. Nothing you can do about it now except keep pushing like everyone else.
