Do associates have hiring power?
I found MBA associates to be chill and I can connect easily with them. Analysts seem to not have any time. But the question is do they have hiring power? Would I be better off messaging VPs and MDs?
Yes in my experience they have pull. Not the ones fresh on the desk tho.
Bullpen cringed every time we heard one of the mba associates hop in the conference room and start spitting lies for to random kids for 30min haha
VP is the best chance you got. Not too senior, not too junior but has enough senior pull to get you hired.
Analysts don't have any fucking power to hire you. Neither does an associate to be honest. They can put you in contact with a VP but they're not deciding shit unless you're an intern.
