Drug test for summer internship in insurance firm?
I have recently offered a summer internship at an insurance firm. I was just wondering if I would get drug tested anytime. They did not mention anything related to drug test during the whole recruiting process. The offer letter did not say a word either except that employment is contingent upon satisfying reference and background check. And I also know that there are no procedures I have to go through for HR before the start date of the actual internship, which is in about 5 weeks. What's the possibility of them giving me a drug test on the first day of the internship, or randomly during the internship? If they do, would they let me know beforehand? Some help needed please.
they usually test be4 you enter the building "day 1" so you should be fine.

I'm pretty sure they would tell you in advance if they were planning to test you. At most BBs, as far as I know, drug testing is completed 2-4 weeks before the start date.
