Duff and Phelps Interview (noob, pls halp)

Hello All,

I have an interview coming up with Duff and phelps for their strategic value advisory group.

Most of the information regarding duff and phelps interviews pertain to valuation (and not the advisory). What little Information there is on the interviews for strategic advisory seem to indicate that the "technical questions" are about probability and stats, however I don't know how reliable this is.

My question is, are the interview guides on this site appropriate/useful for this type of work? If so, which ones? If not, any advice?

I am an econ major with no prior coursework in finance or accounting, and nothing in my resume would indicate that I have any experience in the above fields, yet I still got an interview. Just not sure if they expect me to know fcf, dcf, beta, etc.

Thank you and pls stay safe

Hi, I think I have a similar situation as you were earlier this year. I am wondering how did your SVA final interview go.

Many thanks!
