E-mail format to contact recruiters as a second year analyst
What is the best e-mail format to reach out to recruiters? How do you introduce yourself and what items do you want to mention outside of the typical (your employer, your group, your experience)? I am open to a broad range of companies...not necessarily only PE or HF. How can I express this or should I only pick 1-2 areas I am most interested in.
Do you want to mention start date you are targeting or minimum required compensation? Although compensation would not matter as much for large PE or HF shops, it would matter for companies outside of the traditional financial path. I am considering all options and targeting a start date of summer 2012.
On another note, is it too early to start recruiting for a start date in summer 2012?
