E-mail networking

Hello everyone,

I need to write some follow-up e-mails and send some fresh ones to try to network with alumni, but I have some doubts I'd really appreciate your help on.

1) What is better: an e-mail or a LinkedIn message?

2) What are the best days to send out e-mails to alumni who work in IB?

3) What is the best time during the day to send those e-mails?

4) If they don't reply to my follow-ups should I follow up one more time in the future or stop

Thank you very much for your help!
