Employment in Quant from Non-Target
Hello,
I am currently pursuing dual Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Business Management, with a study duration of 5 years, and I expect to graduate in 2028.
In the future, I aspire to work as a Quant. However, I’ve been told that securing a Quant role is extremely difficult without a Master's degree from a top institution like LBS, HEC, INSEAD, etc. (not to mention the significant amount of extracurricular work required).
To what extent is this true?
Do you have any advice on how to break into this field? Also, do you know of any summer internships related to this area that hire undergraduate students?
