Energist -- HH Firm // Technical @ E&P to Energy IB/PE

Does anyone here have any experience working with or information on The Energists -- headhunting/placement firm based in Houston, primarily dealing in PE and Energy IB and M&A. I currently serve in a technical capacity at a major E&P and was contacted by them this week. I am more interested in this type of lateral than moving over to another E&P company, especially since the next several years are looking like there will be substantial consolidation--I see this as an opportunity to be involved in these deals.

If no one has any intel on the firm specifically, I would still be interested in any general info on dealing with HHs (I have read a few threads with good information), and especially any related to a non-finance roll (engineer, geology). In addition, I would be interested to hear any insights you all may have on the responsibilities of those with technical roles in Energy IB or PE.
