Energy/Project Finance Exit Opportunities

Hey guys, I interned at a MM commercial bank doing project finance for an energy team, and got an analyst offer for next year. I didnt have intention of going into finance before this summer, but now I'm feeling like this is the spot for me. However, I think I'd rather be at an IB group doing infrastructure or energy, and eventually infra fund. Starting to think about how I can get into that - from experience, should I take the offer and try to move into IB after a year? the bank isn't well known but has a lot of deal flow as an arranger and as an analyst would be doing a lot of modeling. Would be curious to see if anyone has done the jump from PF -> IB. Other alternative is to try to get into a FT position for next year, but don't know if hiring is still going on, and haven't prepared for recruiting. Thanks
