Engineering student wanting to get into IB
Hey guys I'm new here and just had a quick question about transitioning from Engineering to IB. Specifically - which areas are the best to go in to? I would assume S&T due to it's quantitative nature but is this always the case?
I'm currently a uni student. Previous experience was at an inter-dealer brokerage firm and at a management consultancy. I have a strong grasp of Python and have written several trading programs. Any advice?
