Even Bother with Ibanking/S&T at BB Full-Time?

Hey so I go to a target (not the best one), and last summer I worked for a somewhat well-known valuation shop. There aren't that many BBs even posting on our career site for FT positions in IB or S&T, so I was wondering if I should even bother applying for these positions at BBs or if I should focus more on MO like transaction services or treasury services. I feel like anyone who is going to get the FT positions in IB/S&T will be transferring from another bank or have previous IB experience under their belt as opposed to valuation. Thanks for any opinions!
