Excel Help! At a complete loss.

Alright fellow monkeys, so I'm stuck in a portion of an excel test that I need to finish by the end of day. I've been poring over Google and the spreadsheet for the better part of the last 2 days, so I'm hoping someone here may be able to help me.

I'm trying to write a single formula to average annual revenues for 4 different stock tickers, from data in a table that has multiplet ticker entries and data given for quarterly revenues. It's much easier understood when looking at the spreadsheet, and I'm doing an awful job of describing it.

I have until 3pm EST to complete this, so if anyone can help, I'll be happy to send you the file in a PM.

Thanks everyone, its driving me nuts!

Sounds like you could do it with a SUMPRODUCT formula. I won't be able to access any files via PM but I would imagine it to be like this if you want to add quarterly revenues for Google in the year 2013: SUMPRODUCT(("Range for years"=2013)("Range for Tickers"="GOOG")("Range for quarterly revenues"))

Maybe with a bit of googling and knowing that you can use a lot of conditions within SUMPRODUCT to sum up individual values you'll get there.
