Experienced professional on a BB IB Graduate Program??

Hello to all!

I would like your views on a dilemma i face, but first, let me give you a brief overview of myself: I am 27, and graduated from my Masters degree in Finance from a top-tier UK university in 2008.

From 2008 until now, I completed my mandatory military service in my home country, worked as a financial analyst for one year and for the past one year and a half I have been working as an investment banking analyst for a small ib boutique in southeastern Europe.

So, I would greatly appreciate your opinions on this: I want to appy for the 2013 IB Analyst Graduate programs of BB Investment Banks in the UK. Do you think that they would still consider me for the position of a 1st-year analyst, taking into account that I have 2,5 years of professional experience and I graduated in 2008??

Thanks guys for all potential answers:)

Dear drexelalum11,

Thanks for the quick reply!

Your answer is extremely positive and very comforting, as I madly want to return to London to work for a BB IB. So following your answer I will definately apply when the BB IBs open the applications for their 2013 graduate programs.

Any quick advice on how to play the ''graduated in 2008 and already have working experience'' card right? Any insight on how I could potentially secure a second-year gig?

Thanks again, your feedback is greatly appreciated!
