Exploratory/Informal Conversation

Hi all,

I have an informal/exploratory "conversation" with an MD in a team I am trying to transfer to. Our HR Guidelines state that you can do this without contacting your current boss. What should I expect? What sorts of questions should I be asking/avoiding?
