Family friend's ex-wife new husband

So one of my dad's good friend got divorced about a year ago. his ex will be marrying the lead director at (Evercore/Lazard/Moelis) in NYC. Is there a polite way for me to get an introduction with this guy? Or am I out of luck because I am friends with the dad not the ex? I am at a non-target and this guy could seriously make me a career on Wall Street with an internship at this firm. How should I go about this?
