Fed-up and feeling hopeless, Full-Time Recruiting Advice?

Will keep this brief/vague for sake of anonymity. Currently a senior at a T-10 target school, planning on graduating early. Most recently completed an IM internship at a reputable shop this summer, but was not given a FT offer (head-count/hiring freeze issues). Due to external circumstances, started recruiting for FT positions a bit late (mid-November). I've already sent almost 1,000 cold emails to individuals (mainly alumni) in multiple industries; however, it seems that everywhere I reach out to (even lesser known firms) have already wrapped up recruiting. Getting a bit frustrated, does anyone have any advice on how I should proceed/where I should look? Open to pretty much anything in IB/PE/AM/HF/Corp. Finance/Consulting. Am feeling pretty hopeless and would appreciate any advice/input, thanks so much for your help.
