Finance job in USA

Hello All,

I am an MBA from the UK and a CFA Level 2 Candidate. I don't have any work experience (except for a six month internship in Management Consulting industry) and I was wondering if I could find a job in the US Financial Markets if at all possible. I am aware that it is a very competitive market but I believe I have the necessary skills for a beginner - quantitative, communication etc. Please suggest me how should I go forward. Are there job consultants who would help me fetch a job? I will be getting my work permit soon.

It might be a little late but apply for summer associate positions and internships designed for MBA candidates. I'm sure with your CFA Level and MBA background you should have little problem getting call backs. Reach out to your alumni network, there might be a couple people who are working in the U.S and who can put in a good word for you. If nothing else works apply to an American bank in the U.K and try and transfer after a year.
