Curious how the job market is in Shanghai for macro research. I'm aware that many of the bulge brackets don't yet have research licenses for the mainland, but JPM for example is getting one in 2020.
How are the opportunities in Shanghai? Is there a willingness to hire foreigners? How do you get an in? I'm particularly interested in China-focused research roles.
