Finding Finance-related Job in UK Prior to Officer Training at Sandhurst

Hello all,

I'm a Kiwi (with British Citizenship) and am moving over to the UK at the end of this year to complete a 9-month residency requirement, prior to beginning army officer training at Sandhurst in September 2020. I'll have to find a job for the 9 months, and am wondering if anyone here has any advice on finance-related jobs that I could do during that short period?

I have a degree in finance and Boutique IB/Big 4 M&A experience, but understand that obviously, I'm not going to get any good IB jobs with 1) only 9 months before I have to quit and 2) a degree that isn't target in Europe/UK.

My question is, what jobs are there that I might be able to utilise my finance degree and skillset, but are far less competitive to get into? I've heard insurance could be worth looking at, but just wanted to see if anyone here had any advice, as this forum has been so helpful to me over the course of my degree.

Thanks in advance.
