Firms I should be looking at as a 3.3 non/semi-target African intl student?

I am an international student from the Horn of Africa, majoring in Economics and Polit. Science at good but non-target/semi-target Liberal Arts college in PA. I am a junior and I have a 3.3 - primarily due to terrible freshman year. Sophomore year GPA and major GPA both 3.6. I was unable to intern at any financial firms last summer (as a Soph)

I'm trying to get an internship doing S&T or Global Capital Markets at a firm that has a strong (or at least some) presence in Africa, (the Horn, North and East in particular). I feel that I can try to leverage my background to appear as a strong candidate for such a firm. Apart from the obvious large banks, Deutsche, Credit Suisse, JPM.. what other firms should I be looking at?

I know my chances are bleak so I'm open to Operations and Risk as well..

I had a 3.3 from a non-target and worked for a Top MM my junior summer, took a BB IBD offer full time, and then lateralled to an elite boutique. Networking is your friend
