Firms Still Hiring?

I am a senior at a prestigious university with prior IB internship but haven't had any luck finding a FT. Should I sit tight and wait for more applications to open up or should I move on and try a different career path? Have applied to any opening I have found and done the networking ground work. Any advice or insight would be highly appreciated. Thanks all.
