I was recently contacted by the firm about an opening. The message was ambiguous, referring to both "research and investment work". I had met some sell-siders there before, but I wasn't aware of any investment activities. Went to the website and found out they have some PE activity, with many of the sell-siders listed as part of the investment team. Anyone know how they operate?
