First year internship in Hong Kong as a student who isn't currently studying there
Hi, I'm a first year undergrad at UBC Sauder and I'm looking for advice in how to get an internship back in Hong Kong (since I'll be back there for April-August in the Summer).
I've been using linkedin Jobs and progressively moved on to cold emailing boutique firms for introductions/informal internship stuff, and I wanted to know if there were any other alternative ways to be able to secure an internship (literally any finance role) for the summer.
I'm kinda stressing for this internship since it's pretty crucial for the second year program I want to apply for (PMF).
Just a side note, how's this type of culture different compared to Canada or the US? I don't see a lot of firms being open to lower year undergrads or a lot of informal internship introductions of the sort. (maybe because most of it is nepotism, but just to be clear, I don't have that luxury)
Et quam laborum facere sunt in. Voluptatum itaque deserunt asperiores est quis ratione. Similique praesentium optio aliquid qui placeat vel.
