Follow up after interviews
Hi everyone, need some advice here.
I had a final round interview for a FT position 9 days back. After I sent a thank you note to my recruiter, she mentioned that the team will make decisions in about 2 weeks. Should I follow-up before the two weeks (it's been 9 days) to show my continued interest, or, should I wait till the two weeks are over and then follow up? Any advice would be helpful.
maybe you can let them have their 2 weeks as they said, then maybe after some extra time in case they got busy or something, you can follow-up just in case they could use your reminder or help or something
Agree with the above - people just get busy. You already did your part by following up, give them the full two weeks.
If you still want to follow up after that, go ahead. But, at that point, chances are you didn’t get it and sending an additional email won’t change that. I was in a similar situation recently and just accepted a different offer once they hit their decision deadline.
