Follow up after successful informational interview with VP
Hey all,
Title pretty much says it all. VP said 2-3 times "it would be great to have you on our team" close to the conclusion of our talk. I applied for a fall internship at a MM, with their applications closing soon. Although, I believe it's not ultimately his decision (probably MDs, other SVPs have a say). Should I send a thank-you email stating "thank you for the opportunity to discuss etc" and include anything sort of insinuating that I'm excited to work at the firm? Even though nothing has been confirmed? I was considering "based on our discussion last week, I'm even more excited about the prospect of..." or is that too much? Any advice is appreciated.
Thank you all!
