For Rising Sophomores (Soph SA programs)

Put this together, LMK if anything is off:

From my understanding (for IB and Capital Markets, not sure about S&T):

GS: Very lowkey about soph program and take ~20 kids for IB (classic and financing, know from former soph SAs). Believe they are still recruiting but you need to have some kind of "in". Not sure about S&T.

MS: Most sophomores positions full from freshman enhancement program and from main portal recruiting. One insider says 4 open spots for their GCM division and I'd guess there are 5 spots left for IB. They take ~20 for IB + GCM. S&T probably fits the same story.

JPM: App not open yet, they have a freshman program on monday so will probably get info then but would guess they take kids in the fall. Not sure how many they take but I'd guess around ~20-25 for IB and CB (they are merged for JPM I think)

BofA: Largest soph class out of all BB. Half spots filled from launchpad program with the remaining spots getting filled in superdays this past week for IB and GCM (not sure if GCM supers are done but first rounds already out). Take ~30-40 for IB + GCM

Citi: Sophomore leadership program historically takes kids for soph programs, pretty sure that happens in the fall. Take around 30 between all divisions

Barclays: No fucking clue haha

Credit Suisse: Recruit kids from steps to success diversity program for most soph SA spots I believe. Not sure if they take any from main portals (or if they even have a main portal). Not sure how many they take.

DB: Sophomore SAs applications open in october for IB/CM as per recent info session. Don't think they take a lot of kids.

UBS: Took some kids from tomorrows talent diversity program already. Not sure if they will take more someone else can provide insight.

Non BB firms:

RBC: Think they are done with taking kids from their Leadership program. They just did superdays for the program recently, not sure if any other spots for other kids.

Jefferies: They have a program but idk how that leads to a sophomore sa. Called J-something.

Liontree: Have ~3-5 soph spots but they are filled with current sophomores for their soph summer.

Hope this helps, if there are any I missed or anything that is incorrect above add below

Do you have any information on how people apply for these limited spots?

Did bofa SD last week for soph SA…check in lady said about 150 total checked in for BofA interviews

Edit: thought you asked how many, my bad

How friendly is the Citi Sophomore program for non-diversity kids? I am currently at a target with solid boutique IB work experience and a 3.7 gpa. If I network, will I at least get a fair shot at getting in or does the program limit their applicants to diversity only? Thanks.

DB conducted a feeder program a few months ago that was specifically meant for soph SA recruiting

Jpm application falls under normal S23 app if you ar not diversity you will be promptly denied
